Meet Scooter
Scooter is always on the go and full of mischief
A nearby neighbour found Scooter in his backyard. It was in the heat of summer, and he was a regular visitor looking for food and water. Scooter was clearly a pet bird, and the neighbour contacted us as he could see a decline in Scooter’s health. We rescued him and took him to our Avian vet for a check-up. He was in relatively good health but underweight and severely dehydrated. He had a short stay in the hospital and was then released back into our care. We tried to reunite him with his owner but were unsuccessful, and he joined the flock in January 2022.
Scooter is our resident thief and always up to no good. He is mischievous, and you need eyes in the back of your head to keep up with this adorable Lorikeet!
